1st Shift
Description
HIRING FOR 1ST AND 2ND SHIFTS.
- Safely move materials.
- Complete Daily Operator's Checklist.
- Notify management of all materials, finished goods, and WIP that are found to be in deficient condition.
- Maintain equipment and storage zones in clean order with general housekeeping, sweeping, rinsing, squeegeeing, and light scrubbing.
- Accurately record all material movements via RF scanning and paper documentation.
- Deliver materials based on FIFO, age, and material requirements for specific product formulas.
- Accurately count materials.
- Maintain proper supply of materials to prevent downtime due to material outages.
- Move materials from receiving docks to storage areas.
- Clean and inspect materials being returned from production before returning the materials to storage areas to ensure proper labeling and sanitation requirements are met.
- Follow all GMP's and SOP's and requirements when in and around production areas.
- All other relevant duties to the job.
Requirements
- Basic math skills and understanding required.
- Excellent organizational skills required.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Forklift experience a strong plus.
- Operate walkie, stand-up reach, stand-up counter-balanced equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
- Frequently sit for long periods.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- May be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
- May be exposed to damp, wet, and cold environments.
- Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
