Brick, NJ. Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures by collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and patients to ensure optimal use of operating rooms.
- Manage preoperative documentation, including verifying patient information, insurance authorizations, and surgical consents to comply with regulatory standards.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and clinical teams to provide timely updates, answer questions, and facilitate smooth surgical experiences.
- Monitor and track surgical case progress, addressing any scheduling conflicts or changes promptly to minimize delays.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical schedules, patient data, and communication logs using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
