Mon - Sun, 8 am - 5 pm with overnight call 5 pm - 8 am
13 - 14 patients per shift -- inpatient rounding with admissions
Inpatient hospital practice setting
Call ratio 1:3 -- 15-minute response time required -- no 24-hr shifts
Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, colonoscopy, PEG, liver biopsy required
Esophageal dilatation, manometry, small bowel biopsy skills required
Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion and management required
Ongoing coverage potential into 2027
