Understand, interpret, and implement manufacturing documentation and procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Assemble components to wheel and brake units as required for customer delivery.
Operate production equipment per operating instructions.
Accurate operation of dimensional measuring instruments and test equipment.
Utilize data collection systems to accurately document/monitor/track production processes/products.
Box and palletize units for customer order fulfillment, as required.
Perform minor preventive maintenance on equipment
Safe operation/use of production, material handling and other equipment.
Support and follow Quality, Safety, Environment, Process, Engineering and Personnel procedures/policies.
Communicate ideas/opportunities for continuous improvement.

Candidate skills & requirements
Ability to effectively read and interpret engineering drawings (ASME Y14.5 preferred).
Mechanical aptitude and ability to effectively learn and use technical information.
The ability to excel in a team oriented, problem-solving environment.
The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
Proactive, self-directed individual with ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks/projects effectively.
Ability to effectively analyze information and identify root causes to trouble shoot and solve problems
Experience using engineering drawings and processing specifications (ASME Y14.5 trained a plus).
Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel a plus)
