Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, hallways, and common areas for policy compliance, assist with wayfinding and visitor inquiries, and help support a professional environment across the location.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate important updates during shift changes and/or with Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
