We re currently seeking a Metabolic Geneticist to join our amazing team.

Details of the Physician opening:

• Anticipated start date: 10/19/2026
• Salary Range: $144-$155/hour
• Anticipated duration of assignment: 26 weeks ( Locums to PERM or perm)
• Anticipated schedule: Monday - Thursday (8A - 5P); Night & Weekend Call

Job Details:

• Support staff: genetic counselors, genetic nurse, genetic counseling assistant
• Coverage Type: outpatient clinic + inpatient consults+ call
• Facility Type: academic/hospital based outpatient clinic
• Practice Setting: outpatient with inpatient consults
• EMR/Charting Software: EPIC
• Avg. Daily Census: 4-5 per day, may increase with additional provider
• Beds: 195 beds
• Patient Age Group: primary peds with occasional adult
• Procedures: General genetics evaluations, biochemical/metabolic disorder management, inpatient consults (PICU, NICU, pediatric ward)

Qualifications:

• State License(s): MO and IL (for occasional telehealth consults), will accept licensure candidates
• BC in genetics required
• Certifications: BLS
• CSR Req d: Yes, BNDD
• DEA Req d?: Yes
• 2-5 years minimum experience required
• Strong diagnostic skills in in genetics, experience with metabolic conditions, ability to collaborate with genetic counselors REQUIRED
