Life doesn’t always follow a fixed schedule. That’s why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.
As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Seattle, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $32.50 / Hour

How This Role Works:
- Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain awareness of visitor, employee, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
