The Department of Urology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking a board-certified Urologist with fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) to join our academic faculty. This position is essential to supporting our ACGME-accredited urology-based fellowship in URPS and continuing the department's long-standing commitment to complex pelvic floor and reconstructive care.

This faculty position offers the opportunity to join an established and highly respected urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery program within one of the premier academic urology departments in the Southeast. The successful candidate will develop a specialist referral practice with a focus on neuro-urology, urinary diversion, neuromodulation, complex urinary incontinence, bladder pain syndrome, surgical management of genitourinary fistulae, and pelvic organ prolapse. Clinical practice opportunities span ambulatory, procedural, and surgical care across a diverse regional patient population.

The practice benefits from an experienced Female Pelvic Health team that currently includes five URPS board-certified faculty and two PhD research faculty. Advanced Practice Providers partner closely with surgeons in patient care, and the clinical platform includes on-site urodynamics and ultrasound at two locations. The program also benefits from a strong referral network, multidisciplinary collaboration with gynecology, colorectal surgery, physical therapy, and rehabilitation services, as well as access to advanced diagnostics and state-of-the-art surgical technologies.

As a faculty member of Wake Forest University School of Medicine, the physician will have opportunities for resident, fellow, and medical student education, along with engagement in departmental conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research. Candidates with interests in bladder pain syndrome, regenerative medicine, urethral injury, clinical trial development, outcomes research, and medical education are encouraged to apply. Training and/or Experience Required

• MD or DO degree

• Board Eligible/ Certified in Urology

• Fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery or equivalent advanced expertise in URPS or voiding dysfunction

• Eligible for unrestricted North Carolina medical licensure
