The OR Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, patient-centered perioperative care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care throughout the surgical experience while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
Deliver perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain a safe, sterile environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
Participate in quality improvement, staff education, and unit initiatives.
Promote efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality care.
Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Current and valid state RN License.
Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training
Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.00 to $51.28 per hour.
