This outpatient cancer center provides dedicated radiation oncology services in a structured clinical environment. The facility operates as a solo physician practice supported by a dosimetrist, physicist, radiation therapists, and a medical assistant to ensure coordinated patient care. The center utilizes EPIC EMR alongside Monaco and Eclipse treatment planning systems to support quality cancer treatment delivery.

About the Clinician's WorkdayThe radiation oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient oncology services Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a one-hour lunch break and no call requirements. Daily responsibilities include managing 10-15 patients per day, conducting approximately 2-3 new patient consultations per week, and completing approximately 15 follow-up visits per week. The clinician will utilize EPIC EMR for all patient documentation and coordinate treatment planning through Monaco and Eclipse systems. Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required, and an active North Carolina medical license is preferred; licensure through IMLC is accepted, and a North Carolina DEA is required. Credentialing is anticipated within 60 days.
