About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Enfield, CT. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $29.10 Per hour, $1,000 - $1,300 Estimated weekly pay
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10 PM - 12 PM Start time
Job Details
- Route Type: Local deliveries to NY, ME, VT, NH, and MA
- Freight / Load Type: Car batteries and palletized freight
- Equipment: Straight Truck 28' and 53' Trailer with liftgates
- Handling: Touch freight, electric pallet jack unload, occasional hand unload when a dock is not available
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including electric pallet jack unload
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, strapping, and tarping
Minimum Requirements
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: Hazmat
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
