Automotive Technician | 3+ Years Experience | Up to $60K+
Paul’s Auto and Collision
Location: Tampa, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; no weekends
Pay Rate: $52,000-$60,000+ annually
Pay Type: Salary plus production bonus
Pay Schedule: Weekly

About Paul’s Auto and Collision
Paul’s Auto and Collision is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join its team in Tampa, Florida. This position offers $52,000-$60,000+ annually with a salary plus production bonus structure.
This is a third-generation, owner-operated automotive repair and collision shop that has been serving the area from the same location since 1949. The shop offers a laid-back, low-pressure environment, a Monday-Friday schedule, and opportunities for technical training and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general automotive mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose drivability, electrical, and check-engine-light concerns
- Use scan data and diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues
- Diagnose oil leaks and research fault codes using ALLDATA
- Remove and replace engines and transmissions as needed
- Test, diagnose, and replace automotive A/C components
- Complete digital vehicle inspections using Shop-Ware
- Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections across a variety of vehicles
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience required
- Strong mechanical repair and intermediate diagnostic skills
- Ability to diagnose drivability and electrical concerns
- Experience using automotive scan tools and interpreting scan data
- Ability to perform engine and transmission removal and replacement
- Experience diagnosing and repairing automotive A/C systems
- Ability to work effectively in a professional automotive repair environment
