Position Overview

Active Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team at our state-of-the-art hospital facility in Arlington, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct physical therapy services as planned, delegated, and supervised by licensed Physical Therapists.

  • Complete patient documentation accurately and promptly, adhering to established protocols for record-keeping and patient privacy.
  • Apply infection control practices and standard precautions in all patient care activities to ensure safety and prevent the spread of infection.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using various physical therapy modalities specific to patient needs and protocols.
  • Participate in mandatory continuing education and in-service training programs to maintain licensure and enhance clinical competencies.
  • Utilize technology, including iPad documentation systems, to streamline patient care operations and improve overall efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a PTA at Active Therapy Services, you will primarily serve an elderly population receiving care in a skilled nursing facility environment.
