The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in aerospace or medical manufacturing environments, a strong understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across all phases of production.

Job Details
Support and maintain the company’s AS9100 Quality Management System.
Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes for precision sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, EDM, welding, and assembly operations.
Create and maintain documentation including inspection plans, control plans, FAI reports, and PPAPs.
Perform root cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and inspection teams to resolve quality issues.
Support internal and external audits; prepare and maintain compliance records.
Provide training and guidance to operators and inspectors on quality standards and procedures.
Work with suppliers to ensure conformance to specifications and quality requirements.
Utilize measurement tools and inspection equipment (CMM, micrometers, calipers, etc.) to verify product accuracy.
Analyze data to identify trends and implement process improvements that reduce variation and defects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 standards.
Experience with root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, etc.).
Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T.
Familiarity with CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and welding processes.
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software.
ASQ Certification (CQE or CQA) preferred but not required.
