POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

The assembly/test technician correctly assembles a CIRCOR pump to internal specifications defined by drawings & bill of materials. The employee will also safely set-up the assembled pump into a test station and verify of all performance parameters.

Principal Activities

• Assemble CIRCOR pumps according to assembly drawing, bill of material, and job packet.

• Install and align pumps into test fixtures, connecting supply/return piping (oil), connecting power and sensors according to job instructions.

• Carryout performance and final hydrostatic tests on CIRCOR pumps using manual and electronic analysis tools. Record results as required by job packet.

• Perform routine in-house gage calibration.

• Would be willing to obtain "confidential" if necessary.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• 3-5 years of assembly or mechanic experience preferred. Hydraulic or electronics experience is a plus.

• Able to read blueprints, read gages (analog and digital), and use measuring tools.

• The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Education & Experience
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
