At Eating Recovery Center (ERC) and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center, you'll have the opportunity to make a profound impact in the lives of patients while working alongside a nationally recognized team dedicated to behavioral health excellence.
We are actively seeking Adult Psychiatrists and Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists to join our Denver-based physician team. This is a IP, PHP and RES setting. What You'll Be Doing
Psychiatrists lead multidisciplinary treatment teams and provide comprehensive psychiatric care for individuals experiencing eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and other co-occurring mental health conditions.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnosing psychiatric illnesses and developing individualized treatment plans
Prescribing and managing psychotropic medications
Providing psychotherapy and psychiatric evaluations
Determining appropriate levels of care
Advocating for patients within healthcare systems
Obtaining medical histories and interpreting diagnostic testing
Collaborating closely with therapists, dietitians, nursing teams, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals
Essential Duties
Direct Patient Care
Practice evidence-based, high-quality psychiatric medicine that prioritizes exceptional patient outcomes and experiences
Support patient understanding, engagement, and shared decision-making in treatment
Maintain timely access to care and support system-wide quality improvements
Typical full-time patient volume averages 18-24 patients per week
Residential and PHP patients are generally seen by psychiatrists twice weekly
Complete clinical documentation thoroughly and within established timelines
Maintain complete and accurate medical records, charts, and case documentation
Collaborate with leadership, physicians, clinical staff, family members, support persons, and referring providers
Participate in treatment planning and communication with referring clinicians both inside and outside the organization
Advocate for patients by supporting level-of-care determination and participating in insurance peer reviews to optimize treatment duration and outcomes
Leadership & Professional Expectations

Support organizational goals involving quality, compliance, outcomes, and patient satisfaction
Maintain departmental, regulatory, safety, and infection control standards

Participate in continuing education, staff training, and professional development activities
Evaluate personal performance and pursue opportunities for growth
Participate in community education and physician outreach activities as requested
Serve as a teacher, mentor, and clinical resource for trainees and staff members
Receive and apply individual and group supervision from physician and clinical leaders
On-Call Expectations
We believe in transparency regarding call responsibilities.
Participate in the medical staff weekend call rotation
Cover assigned facilities from Friday evening through Monday morning
Conduct in-person inpatient rounds on Saturday and Sunday mornings
Provide coverage for psychiatric calls from inpatient units during the call period
Additional compensation of $2,000 per weekend call assignment
Current physician staffing typically results in call responsibilities approximately once every 2-3 months
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Graduation from an accredited Medical School and completion of an Accredited Residency Program and fellowships for specialists or equivalent training
Board Certified in General Psychiatry and/or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Licensed to practice medicine in the state(s) where patients are seen
BLS/CPR certifications, licensures, and registrations
All certifications for this position must remain current
Knowledge of regulatory body requirements, including Joint Commission standards and other applicable regulations
