Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Deterrence in Lakewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will build positive relationships through exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control activities, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and support the controlled movement of personnel, deliveries, and vehicles.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
