Registered Nurse (RN) - Winter Temporary Program

Pediatric Care Center

Newark Campus

Program Dates- **Two Options**:

  • 24-Week Option: October 25, 2026 - March 13, 2027
  • 12-Week Option: December 6, 2026 - February 27, 2027

Our Pediatric Care Center features 14 beds and provides a unique blend of emergency and general pediatric acute care. As a Pediatric Care Center RN, you will care for patients from birth through age 17 with a wide range of conditions, including RSV, sepsis, asthma, fractures, gastrointestinal illnesses, head and body injuries, high fevers, infections, abdominal pain, and more.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your pediatric nursing skills while working in a collaborative, team‑focused environment dedicated to delivering high-quality, family-centered care.

Requirements

  • 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care hospital setting required
  • Registered Nurse experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care and/or Pediatric Stepdown required
  • BLS certification required
  • BSN preferred; ADN required
  • Epic-prepared and competent in assigned clinical area
  • Complete two days of orientation
  • Commit to either the 12-week or 24-week program
  • Meet weekend and holiday commitment

$52.00/hr

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
