Northview Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated *Lead Caregiver* to join our team. We are a resident-centered community committed to providing high-quality care with dignity and respect. *Position Overview:*
As the *Lead Caregiver*, you will play a key role in ensuring the well-being of our residents by supervising care staff, coordinating daily care activities, and serving as a liaison between caregivers, nursing staff, residents, and families.
*Responsibilities:*
* Supervise and support caregiving staff on all shifts
* Provide direct care (ADLs) to residents as needed
* Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new caregivers
* Monitor resident care plans and report changes to the wellness team
* Ensure daily documentation is accurate and complete
* Promote a safe, clean, and positive living environment
* Respond to emergencies and assist with problem resolution
* Communicate regularly with residents, families, and staff
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience in assisted living or long-term care
* Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
* CNA or HCA certification (if required by state)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong xqrzhdi organizational and problem-solving abilities
* A genuine passion for working with older adults
