CDL-A Yard Driver Responsibilities As a Yard Driver, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running efficiently by safely moving trailers and containers throughout the facility. What You'll Do - Move trailers and containers throughout the yard
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Conduct yard safety checks
- Work with dry van and container equipment
- Ensure equipment is parked safely and accurately
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment
- No-touch freight
Driver Requirements - Valid Class A CDL
- At least 12 months of CDL-A driving experience within the last 5 years
- Minimum 6 months of recent yard driver/hostler experience
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Safe driving record
