Full job description
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, document care, and support student learning as assigned. Clinical practice will follow physician direction, state practice acts, and organizational safety and compliance standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Oklahoma state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
- Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop measurable treatment goals, and document in compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements.
- Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and clinic safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising or mentoring students in clinical settings.
- Experience with outpatient documentation systems and charge entry.
- Active participation in professional development and continuing education.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift (5x8).
