Responsibilities:

The Clinical Resource Surgical Technician helps to facilitate quality patient care by assisting the surgeon and staff before, during, and after surgery. Serves as a clinical specialist for designated service line, and is responsible for ensuring appropriate resources (supplies, instrumentation, vendor resources, etc.) are available for each case. Will also serve as a liaison between surgeon and other parties as appropriate to secure resources in advance of surgery. Maintains surgeon preference cards and assists with onboarding activities for new surgeons.

Qualifications:

Education

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 4 years of experience working as a Surgical Technician in an acute-care setting Required

Licenses and Certifications

  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
  • CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Surgical Technician certification Preferred
