Description Live haul drivers hold a Class A CDL transporting birds between poultry farms and processing plants allowing for local, home-daily routes. This position
typically earns approximately $1,800/week / $93,600/annually. - Comply with the Department of Transportation (DOT) safety rules and regulations, Company policies and local, state and federal policies, laws and procedures.
- Transport live birds from the farm to the plant.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure load is secured properly.
- Complete required documentation.
- Maintain truck cleanliness.
- Any other relevant duties to the job.
Requirements Class A Commercial Driver's License required. 1+ year(s) of verifiable commercial driving experience required. Clean motor vehicle driving record required.
Physical Requirements - Sit and drive for up to 10 hours.
- Regularly climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift.
- Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis.
- Occasionally lift 50+ lbs.
- Work around raw, live animal odors.
