The CMC Technician – Level C supports high‑performance, self‑directed manufacturing teams producing advanced ceramic matrix composite components. This role executes standardized work across multiple fabrication and machining processes, follows rigorous EHS and quality requirements, maintains accurate records, and actively contributes to continuous improvement to deliver safe, high‑quality parts that meet customer needs.Job Description

Job Responsibilities
Complete required training for each assigned fabrication or machining process; complete all compliance and EHS training
Actively contribute to a high performance, self directed work team; participate in safety and/or quality audits
Execute production tasks across multiple CMC process areas, as trained and qualified, which may include:
Gerber table cutting equipment
Lay up (hand application of raw material onto molds)
Furnace operations: autoclave, burnout, melt infiltration
Grit blasting
CNC machine operation
Non conventional machining (EDM, laser drilling)
Visual and machine inspection
Follow standard work, safety procedures, and quality requirements; accurately record operations and production data
Support problem solving and continuous improvement to enhance Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Qualifications/Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Flexibility to adjust schedules for training, as required
Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
Legally authorized to work in the United States; any offer is contingent upon successful completion of the pre‑employment process (including background check and drug screening)
This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

Prior CMC and/or manufacturing experience
Ability to work independently in a team environment
Flexibility to rotate between shop operations; computer proficiency
Strong mechanical/technical aptitude thorough documentation skills
