Occupational Therapist

Encompass Health seeks an Occupational Therapist for our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you will evaluate and treat adult patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other complex illnesses. You will develop individualized treatment plans, deliver evidence-based interventions, and train patients and families in adaptive techniques and equipment to promote safety and independence. Working within an interdisciplinary team, you’ll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs, and case managers, document thoroughly in the EMR, and contribute to continuous quality and process improvement.
