Job Type: Full-time | Days

Up to $30,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Candidates

Schedule: 3x12, Nights (7a-7p), Rotating Weekends and Holidays

The RN House Supervisor provides administrative and clinical leadership for hospital operations during assigned shifts. This role coordinates patient care activities, supports nursing staff, manages staffing and patient flow, responds to emergencies, and serves as the primary clinical resource in the absence of department leadership. The RN House Supervisor promotes quality outcomes, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient experiences.

How you'll contribute

An RN House Supervisor who excels in this role:

  • Provide operational oversight of hospital departments during assigned shifts
  • Coordinate staffing assignments based on census, acuity, and patient care needs
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing and ancillary staff
  • Support patient throughput, admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Respond to and coordinate emergency situations, rapid responses, and critical incidents
  • Monitor patient care standards and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate communication between departments, providers, patients, and families
  • Assist with conflict resolution, service recovery, and patient concerns
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation and administrative reports as required

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current New Mexico or Compact State RN license and possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
