Our client, an industry leader in facility management, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Worker for the 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting the maintenance and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will help you thrive in this role and contribute to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment.
Job Title: Maintenance worker 2nd Shift
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA
Pay Range: $20-$24
Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
What's the Job?
- Monitor the facility to ensure safety, security, and proper maintenance
- Troubleshoot power, HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical systems
- Perform general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry and plumbing tasks
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee repairs and maintenance activities
- Replace lighting bulbs and ballasts as needed and move office furniture and equipment upon request
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and maintenance procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
