The Opportunity
MIT Health seeks a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join our well-established Lexington, MA office located on the campus of MIT Lincoln Laboratory. The Lexington practice serves a unique patient population, including MIT and Lincoln Laboratory faculty, researchers, engineers, staff, retirees and their families who live and work near Lexington. Clinic schedules are structured to allow ample time with your patients, allowing you to develop deep, longitudinal relationships, engage in meaningful preventive health discussions, and provide full-scope primary care management of chronic conditions.
- Direct Patient Care: Manage a diverse patient panel (approx. 1,200 - 1,500 patients) in a modern, well-equipped primary care setting
- Comprehensive Services: Deliver preventive care for adults and children, chronic disease management, acute care, and women's health services (no obstetrics.) Care for a small panel of pediatric patients in a family medicine model.
- Team-Based Care: Collaborate with an experienced Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Medical Assistants, and Patient Services Representatives
- Integrated Care: Leverage our integrated electronic medical record system and connections to our Cambridge-based Primary Care practice and broader MIT Health services
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice implementation, and leverage advanced health technology tools (including AI-driven platforms) to enhance clinical workflows and patient outcomes

Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO with current, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license (or ability to obtain)
- 2-3 years of post-residency practice experience in a community setting
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine
- Current DEA license and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
- Current BLS for healthcare providers certification
