Precision Manufacturing Technician

Our client, a leader in the optical manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Precision Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Precision Manufacturing Technician, you will be supporting the optical fabrication department, working alongside a team committed to excellence and innovation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and a passion for craftsmanship, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Precision Manufacturing Technician

Location: Boulder, CO

Pay Range: $22–$26/hour

Shift: Friday–Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Fabricate precision optical components from initial print through final product
• Perform beveling, milling, blocking, grinding, polishing, curve generation, and inspections
• Ensure all work meets customer and quality requirements
• Conduct detailed measurements and in-process quality checks
• Follow established procedures and documentation standards

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in optics or fabrication preferred; QA/inspection experience a plus
• Strong reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to precision
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
• Interest in building a long-term career in optical fabrication or precision manufacturing
