Full job description
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator
Location: Rochester, MN
Pay Range: $22.25
Shift: Day shift, rotating 12 hr
What's the Job?
- Safely set-up and operate equipment to optimize machine capability and product output.
- Apply knowledge and skill to troubleshoot and address routine equipment malfunctions.
- Check for defects or malfunctions that may affect product quality.
- Follow safety policies, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a similar role.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of machinery and equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork orientation.
