Hospitalist Physician

ATC Locums is seeking a Board-Certified OB Hospitalist to provide Labor & Delivery coverage in Toledo, Ohio. Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Toledo, Ohio
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based Labor & Delivery at a teaching hospital
• Coverage Dates:
  • August 2 (8:00 AM) August 3 (8:00 AM)
  • August 7 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Additional opportunities may become available as coverage needs continue.
• Reason for Coverage: Temporary staffing shortages and maternity leave coverage
• Patient Population: Approximately 80% high-risk obstetrics, 20% low-risk obstetrics, with limited gynecology
• Facility: Level I Trauma Center with a Level III Nursery and 10-bed Labor & Delivery unit

Clinical Responsibilities

• Management of low- and high-risk pregnancies
• Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• VBAC management
• Breech and multiple gestation deliveries
• Operative obstetrics and repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations
• OB ultrasound interpretation and fetal monitoring
• Emergency and operative gynecologic procedures as needed

Practice Environment

• Call: Hospital-based Labor & Delivery coverage
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: OB residents, experienced nursing staff, and collaborative midwife team
• Onsite Resources: Laboratory and ultrasound services readily available

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Ohio medical license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
