Team Overview:

This Product Delivery Team consists of a small group of React and Java developers and is responsible for numerous custom-built applications, used daily by our home office associates, branch teams and clients. We support Asset Movement Products (Money Movement) and Cash Management Products (ie. Insured Bank Deposit, Money Market, Checking and Debit Cards) and other applications relevant to the Banking and Cash Management at the firm. We are seeking an exceptionally talented person to innovate and collaborate with our team to generate creative ideas that will continue taking these applications to the next level.

What You'll Do:
  • Partner with an Agile team to deliver technology solutions that drive business value.
  • Lead the analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of complex applications and information systems.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, including system designs, specifications, enhancements, and effort estimates.
  • Develop and support both new and existing applications while adapting to changing priorities and environments.
  • Conduct code reviews and testing activities to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to standards.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot issues, including participation in an on-call support rotation.
  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to identify solutions and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Mentor and support team members by sharing technical expertise, best practices, and knowledge of business processes and systems.
  • Work with outside vendors.
What Experience You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Java, React, JCL, DB2, and Expediter (or similar debugging tools).
  • Experience developing and supporting both batch and online/web applications.
  • Experience supporting communications between mainframe and open systems environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
