Job Title: Epitaxy Engineer
Location: South Plainfield, NJ

Company Overview
Glint Tech Solutions is a women-owned global IT staffing and recruiting firm partnering with a leading enterprise client in the semiconductor industry.

Project Description
The client develops III-V semiconductor laser and detector materials, with a focus on MOCVD epitaxial growth for advanced photonic devices including EML and DFB lasers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MOCVD epitaxial growth of III-V semiconductor materials
  • Optimize growth recipes and process parameters
  • Support material characterization and troubleshoot MOCVD process/equipment issues
  • Improve material quality, consistency, and yield
  • Collaborate with process, device, R&D, and production teams
  • Support MOCVD equipment maintenance

Mandatory Skills

  • 2+ years hands-on MOCVD epitaxial growth experience with III-V materials
  • Master's in Materials Science, EE, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related (Bachelor's + strong experience also considered)
  • Experience operating/troubleshooting MOCVD reactors
  • Familiarity with epitaxial characterization techniques

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with semiconductor lasers, photonics, or optoelectronic devices
  • Experience with InP, EML, DFB, or related laser structures
