Kennel Attendant
Teller Park Veterinary | Woodland Park, CO
Love animals? Don't mind getting a little dirty? We'd love to meet you.
Teller Park Veterinary is looking for a reliable, caring Kennel Attendant to help keep our boarding pets happy, healthy, and comfortable while they're away from home. If you're someone who genuinely enjoys being around dogs and cats, works well with a team, and isn't afraid of cleaning up after a messy puppy, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing
Every day looks a little different, but you can expect to:
- Walk, feed, and care for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities
- Give boarding pets plenty of love, attention, and playtime
- Keep kennels, litter boxes, play areas, and the hospital clean and sanitized
- Help with laundry, dishes, trash, and other daily tasks that keep everything running smoothly
- Watch for any changes in a pet's behavior and let the veterinary team know
- Jump in wherever help is needed—we're all about teamwork here
We'd Love to Meet You If You...
- Genuinely love working with animals
- Can confidently handle dogs and cats of all sizes
- Show up on time and do what you say you'll do
- Have a positive attitude and enjoy working with others
- Don't mind being on your feet and staying busy throughout the day
- Can work mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Animal care or kennel experience is awesome, but we're happy to train the right person who's excited to learn.
Perks
- Veterinary care discounts for your pets
- Paid time off
- Flexible scheduling
- Hands-on training
- A supportive team that actually enjoys working together
- Every day spent hanging out with animals (the best coworkers, honestly)
Schedule
- 8–10 hour shifts
- Day and evening shifts available
- Weekend availability required
- Shifts may fall on holidays
Requirements
- Background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous kennel or animal care experience is a plus—but not a dealbreaker
If you're looking for more than "just a job" and want to be part of a team that truly cares about animals and each other, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and come help us give every pet the care and attention they deserve.
