Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department's daily operations within a skilled nursing facility.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans tailored to meet individual resident needs.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor resident health status and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.
• Act as a liaison between nursing staff, residents, families, and administration to address concerns and promote effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the state regulatory board.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of (X) years of nursing experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
