Licensed Insurance Agent Requirements & Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Life & Health Insurance License
• Reliable transportation for travel to client appointments across New Jersey
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple client relationships

Licensed Insurance Agent Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience in life, health, employee, voluntary, or supplemental insurance
• Familiarity with benefits enrollment processes
• Knowledge of Medicare or financial services

Licensed Insurance Agent Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Meet with existing clients—virtually and in person—throughout New Jersey
• Conduct annual insurance and benefits reviews for assigned clients
• Educate individuals and families on a variety of insurance coverages, including life, disability, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and supplemental plans
• Recommend tailored coverage solutions based on each client’s needs
• Guide clients through enrollment and application processes
• Maintain accurate records and follow through on all client service commitments
