Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2000 per week.

Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 4 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Patient ratios vary by area: tele/pediatrics 1:4, SDU 1:3, and med surg 1:5. Uses Omnicell as the medication system. The unit has no IV team or lift team. 24/7 support includes pharmacy, phlebotomy for lab draws, and a unit secretary. An intensivist is available in the ICU, and hospitalists can request an intensivist consult 24/7. Bedside chest tube procedures are very rare.

Shift & Scheduling: Call may be required depending on census. Weekend rotation applies. Weekend coverage: full-time staff work 2 weekend shifts per pay period; part-time staff work 1 weekend shift per pay period. Some staff have a set schedule (rotor), while others are flex.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.
