Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2070 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 18 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - No first-time travelers accepted; must have completed at least 1 travel contract within the previous 18 months. - Proficiency caring for all patient types and a variety of med surg patients required. - Heparin experience required. - Recent charge or precept experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Telemetry/cardiac background highly preferred.

Special Requests: - Past UPH FTE employees or PRN staff from the UPH float pool cannot work travel in another market if they currently work there or have worked there within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH, the separation policy does not apply.

Unit Details: - Cares for all types of med surg patients. - Heparin drips. - Remote telemetry technician monitoring.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every third weekend. - No call. - Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming holidays unless the unit is closed.

Floating Requirements: - Required to float to all campuses, including Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, and Methodist West Hospital, within the pertinent skill set/unit they are contracted for.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
