Full job description

As a Technology Support Specialist, you’ll play an important role in assembling and supporting technology services within our warehouse environment. You’ll help assemble and ensure devices, equipment, and technology solutions are operating properly so team members and operations can work efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with your hands, troubleshooting, learning about technology, & solving problems.
You’ll receive training and resources to assess technology needs, perform basic services, coordinate repairs, and provide timely support in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Job Title: Technology Support Specialist
Location: Kansas City, MO
Pay Range: $24+
Shift: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?

  • Assemble main distribution frames according to technical specifications and engineering drawings
  • Install and terminate copper and fiber optic cables on distribution blocks
  • Mount and secure distribution blocks, cable management systems, and protective devices
  • Perform continuity testing and basic troubleshooting of assembled frames
  • Maintain accurate assembly documentation and quality control records
What's Needed?
  • Minimum of 6 mos. Experience in a technology support or assembly role.
  • Must have a background in working with Cat 6, fiber connections, low-voltage cabling, or computer hardware assembly
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and telecommunications equipment
