Full job description

Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to join our collaborative breast imaging team. In this per diem role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic and screening breast ultrasounds, ensuring accurate, timely images for radiologist interpretation. You’ll explain procedures, position patients, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include adhering to imaging protocols, safety and infection-prevention standards, and documenting exams in the EMR. You’ll work closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary breast care teams and have access to advanced technology, education, and growth opportunities.
