Yellowstone Local is proud to represent Comfort Air Mechanical, Inc., an industry leader in residential and light commercial HVAC services.

Earn $28.00 to $40.00 per hour while working across residential and light commercial HVAC systems and building your technical expertise through a variety of service, repair, maintenance, and diagnostic work.

This position supports customers throughout the assigned service territory in Southwest Colorado, Southeast Utah, and the Navajo Nation, so candidates should be comfortable with local travel throughout that area.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems

  • Perform preventive maintenance, system tune-ups, and equipment inspections

  • Complete HVAC system start-ups and shut-downs

  • Identify mechanical and electrical issues using industry-standard diagnostic procedures

  • Explain repair recommendations and service findings clearly to customers

  • Accurately document completed work, parts used, and time spent on each service call

  • Follow all company safety procedures and EPA refrigerant handling regulations

  • Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work area

  • Work closely with dispatch and office staff to complete scheduled service calls efficiently

  • Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned service area

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on HVAC service experience diagnosing and repairing residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems

  • EPA Certification is required

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience performing preventive maintenance, equipment tune-ups, and component replacement

  • Knowledge of HVAC electrical and mechanical systems

  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment specifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets the company's insurance

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment, work in varying weather conditions, and safely operate hand and power tools

  • Ability to travel locally throughout the assigned service area

Preferred

  • Completion of an HVAC technical program or apprenticeship preferred
