Volt is immediately hiring 1st and 2nd Shift Production Operators for a manufacturing company in Lake Forest, CA. As a Production Operators you will: Job Description <ul> <li>Day to Day Responsibilities</li> <li>Work in manufacturing shop environment</li> <li>Responsible for tube bending for production of fuel tanks and pressure vessels </li> <li>Tend to various industrial rotating machinery ensuring that production process goes smoothly </li> <li>Load and unload raw materials as needed</li> <li>Ensure that correct composites, fibers, and resin is being used </li> <li>Support filament winding process by squeezing resin onto surfaces as needed and cleaning the tools</li> <li>Assist in rotational molding (Rotomolding) by prepping fine powder materials to filling the molds </li> <li>Secure the mold before starting rotation process and remove molded part after rotation is complete</li> <li>Assist in "Boss Recovery" inspecting and addressing any imperfections or defects on raised plastic features (bosses) of molded parts</li> <li>Inspect for thinness, uneven thickness, or sharp edges</li> <li>Assemble tubing parts and install foam domes </li> <li>Assist in packaging as needed to prepare tanks for shipment</li> </ul> This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire opportunity The ideal candidate will have: <ul> <li>Required Skills & Qualifications <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Knowledge of using assembly tools, fixtures, and equipment.</li> <li>Knowledge of mechanical assembly process.</li> <li>Skilled in warehouse tasks such as loading/unloading</li> <li>Automobile mechanic experience and ability to operate a forklift, also a plus.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Preferred Skills & Qualifications <ul> <li>Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.</li> <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish</li> </ul> </li> </ul> Schedule: Monday to Friday <ul> <li>1st Shift 5am to 1:30pm + Weekends as needed </li> <li>2nd shift: 2:00pm to 10:30pm + Weekends as needed</li> </ul> Pay Rate: $21-$26 per hour DOE. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
