In this position, you would be responsible for advising and greeting customers; listening to their description of the problems or service needed, determining the type of service required, and preparing repair orders. If a vehicle requires additional repairs not covered in the original order, you will estimate the additional cost and telephone the customer for permission to do the work. You would report directly to the Service Manager .
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 1 year of Automotive Service Advisor/Writing
* Working knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs, and parts
* Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customers' needs into workable technician orders
* Strong writing and typing skills
* All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
* Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license.
* Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the shop insurance policy (Not an excluded driver)
* Bilingual preferred but not required.
Essential Duties, but not limited to:
* Follows all company processes and procedures
* Advises customers of necessary services, repairs, and benefits
* Maintains Pricing Policies
* Meet the manufacturer's customer satisfaction levels
* Maintains our company standards of gross profit production and customer satisfaction.
* Always communicating internally and externally with other departments, employees, and vendors
* Updating and communicating with customers in a timely manner
* Complies with all rules and regulations as required
Salary Range: $16.50 + commission plan
Type: Full-time
