Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Retention Manager to join our ever-evolving Retention team and help us unleash the potential of every business.
What you’ll own as the Retention Manager
This role leads a group of advisors that strive to make a positive revenue impact across our Worldpay for Business space while providing merchants with best-in-class customer experience.
You will:
Provide leadership for areas of responsibility including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development and mentoring.
Monitor staff performance, work with employees to implement goals and document progress, approve incentive compensation calculations and works with Human Resources on employee related issues.
Responsible for activities involved in selling products and/or services, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.
Participate in establishing financial goals, objectives and measurements to meet growth and retention targets.
Develop plans, goals, strategies and objectives to achieve team goals and revenue objectives.
Ensure development and maintenance of long-term relationships with client base.
Partner with analysts and support staff to ensure that all team needs are met.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years in financial services, preferably payments or merchant services
Strong knowledge of integrated payments, systems, and banking practices
Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and Outlook
Experience in client retention, account management, and revenue growth
Strong analytical, organizational, and workload prioritization skills
Effective communicator with ability to influence stakeholders and present clearly
Skilled in negotiation, issue resolution, and managing high-pressure situations
