Full job description
School Speech Language Pathologist position in York, Pennsylvania. 36-week contract. Provides speech and language assessment, therapy, and IEP development for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students within the school setting.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Provide direct speech and communication therapy to students during school hours.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student communication goals.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports to ensure regulatory compliance and effective therapy outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or equivalent.
Valid Pennsylvania State License for Speech-Language Pathologist.
Minimum 1 year of experience working in school settings.
Proficiency in speech and language assessments and therapy planning.
Must be able to work days during school schedule.
Must pass background checks.
Strong communication skills.
Comfortable working with school-aged children.
Flexibility and team-oriented attitude.
