Full job description

School Speech Language Pathologist position in York, Pennsylvania. 36-week contract. Provides speech and language assessment, therapy, and IEP development for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students within the school setting.

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.

  • Provide direct speech and communication therapy to students during school hours.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student communication goals.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports to ensure regulatory compliance and effective therapy outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or equivalent.

  • Valid Pennsylvania State License for Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in school settings.

  • Proficiency in speech and language assessments and therapy planning.

  • Must be able to work days during school schedule.

  • Must pass background checks.
