Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2340 per week.

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Special Requests: - Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether it was a teaching facility. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job. - Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location. - Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. - Skills checklist cannot contain any N/As; all lines must have a numerical rating. - Must disclose previous Sanford Health employment. If previously worked with Sanford, the end date must be at least 6 months before submission.

Unit Details: - Provide nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical unit. Perform head-to-toe and focused assessments, administer medications, communicate with the interdisciplinary team, update patients and families on the plan of care, advocate for patients, and document all care. - Uses OmniCell, Philips Care Monitors, glucometers, bladder scanners, Language Line, and Zebra phones. - Nurse-to-patient ratios: 0700-2300: 1:4-5; 2300-0700: 1:5-6.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Every other holiday. - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. - Self-scheduling available; only the days off listed on the contract are protected, and self-scheduled shifts may be moved to balance unit needs. If a specific day off cannot be supported, staff are expected to find someone to trade shifts.

Floating Requirements: - May be required to float to all units/locations within Fargo, including other med-surg units at SMCF and Broadway Sanford.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
