CT Technologist

RWJ University Hospital Rahway seeks a Cat Scan Technician to perform high-quality CT imaging for diagnostic and interventional procedures in our community teaching hospital. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating CT scanners and related equipment, following physician protocols, and ensuring accurate image acquisition and PACS documentation. The technologist will practice ALARA principles, verify patient identification, obtain histories, start IVs for contrast, monitor patients for reactions, and escalate concerns. Role includes collaboration with radiologists, nurses, and other staff, mentoring students, and supporting continuous quality, safety, and workflow improvement.
