OB/GYN Hospitalist
Location: Houston, Texas
Overview
Join a hospital-based OB/GYN Hospitalist team and focus on delivering high-quality inpatient care in a structured, team-supported environment. This role offers a predictable schedule of approximately seven 24-hour shifts per month, providing a strong balance between clinical practice and time outside of work.
This position is ideal for physicians who enjoy hospital-based obstetrics, value collaborative team coverage, and are looking for consistency in their schedule while maintaining a dynamic clinical scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hospital-based obstetric and emergent gynecologic care
- Manage labor and delivery for patients within the regional OB/GYN provider group
- Perform scheduled labor inductions and planned C-sections
- Round on inpatient obstetric patients
- Collaborate within a regional OB/GYN team to ensure consistent coverage and continuity of care
Schedule
- 24-hour hospital shifts
- Approximately 7 shifts per month
- Includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays
