Physical Therapist Assistant

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Encompass Health, you will play a key role in helping patients recover function and independence after major illness or injury. Working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, you will deliver hands-on treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance work, and functional mobility activities. You will closely monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and educate patients and families on home programs and safety. In our collaborative, team-oriented environment, you will partner with nurses, therapists, and physicians to support individualized care plans and contribute to discharge planning.
