Patient Care Specialist (PCS)Vera Whole Health
Location: 331 N. Buffalo Drive Suite 120 Las Vegas, NV 89145
Schedule: M-F 8-5
Pay: $19-$22
Vera Whole Health is seeking a reliable, customer‑focused Patient Care Specialist (PCS) to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, you play a vital role in creating a warm, efficient, and supportive clinic experience. We’re looking for someone with strong attendance, excellent communication skills, and 2–3 years of front‑office experience in a healthcare setting.

How will you make an impact & Requirements

Greet and check in patients with professionalism and compassion
Manage front‑office operations including scheduling, check‑out, and updating EMR records
Answer multi‑line phones while following urgent/emergent protocols
Conduct daily appointment reminders and outreach
Collect and process payments at time of service
Verify insurance eligibility and assist with authorizations
Resolve patient concerns with empathy and problem‑solving
Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and safety protocols
Support administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and supply management
Participate in team huddles and contribute to workflow improvements
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years of healthcare front‑office experience (required)
Strong reliability and consistent attendance
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Intermediate computer skills (MS Office + EMR experience)
Ability to type 45+ WPM
Cultural sensitivity and professionalism with diverse patient populations
Additional language skills are a plus

Compensation Range:
$18.00to
$27.00
The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
